Junior Ryan Paulus Leads JV Bowling in Opening Match at Stow

JUNIOR RYAN PAULUS LEADS JV BOWLING IN OPENING MATCH AT STOW

The Highland Junior Varsity Bowling Team fell to Stow 1338-1740 Tuesday night at Kent Lanes in their opening match of the season. The Hornets bowled a two-game series of 1098 (538-560) to the Bulldog’s 1370 (683-687) and 240 in their baker games (97-56-87) to Stow’s 370 (122-126-122). Highland was led by Junior Ryan Paulus 270 (138-132), Sophomore Aiden Kenner 198 (110-88) and Freshman Ben Cavanaugh 138, followed by Freshmen Logan DeVoe 110 & Connor Skomski 102, Junior Chase Stastny 100, Senior Aubrey Seiberling 92 and Freshman Mason Everly 88. Paulus and Cavanaugh tied for bowling the high game of the night and Kenner, Cavanaugh, DeVoe, Skomski, Seiberling and Everly made their JV debuts. The JV Hornets are 0-1 in conference play as they head to Yorktown Lanes on Tuesday to face North Royalton.
