FRESHMAN LOGAN DEVOE LEADS JUNIOR VARSITY BOWLING IN MATCH AT TWINSBURG
On Wednesday night, the Junior Varsity Bowling team fell short against Twinsburg 1472 to 1626 at Roseland Lanes. In the tight two-game individual series, the Tigers held a slight advantage 1239 (644-595) to Highland's 1201 (606-595). Although the Hornets drew closer after the first Baker game, Twinsburg pulled away in the final two, notching a 387 (91-148-148) against Highland's 271 (100-99-72).
Freshman Logan DeVoe led the Hornets with a 289 series (131-158), closing out his 131 game with a tenth frame Turkey.
Freshman Ben Cavanaugh followed with a 267 (146-121).
Single game contributors included Junior Chase Stastny 123, Freshman Connor Skomski 112, Sophomore Geo Kerechanin 109, Senior Aubrey Seiberling 106 and Freshman Mason Everly 98. Sophomore Aiden Kenner also bowled in the first game.
In the Baker games, Kerechanin notched a strike, Devoe had 2 spares in game 2 and both Stastny and Everly contributed a spare.
The JV Hornets take on the Wadsworth Grizzlies on December 16th at AMF Riviera Lanes.
