Freshman Logan DeVoe Leads Junior Varsity Bowling in Tallmadge Match

FRESHMAN LOGAN DEVOE LEADS JUNIOR VARSITY BOWLING IN TALLMADGE MATCH

On Tuesday, the Junior Varsity Bowling team fell to Tallmadge 1427-1610 in a Suburban League dual at Station 300. The Hornets rolled 1131 (603-528) to the Blue Devils' 1244 (669-575) in individual games. In the Baker round, Highland logged a 296 (99-102-95) against Tallmadge's 366 (120-151-95). Freshman Logan DeVoe led the team with a 305 (156-149), racking up 8 strikes, including a turkey in his second game. Sophomore Geo Kerechanin bowled a 256 two-game series (121-135). Junior Chase Stastny led the way for single game bowlers, with a 115. Senior Aubrey Seiberling rolled a 109 followed by Freshmen Ben Cavanaugh 102 and Mason Everly 89. Sophomore Aiden Kenner 86 and Freshman Connor Skomski 69 rounded out the individual games. In Bakers, DeVoe led the charge with 3 strikes, including starting the tenth frame of the first game with a double. Cavanaugh (2) and Stastny (1) struck in the round, with Stastny and Kenner each adding 2 spares as well. The JV Hornets will take to the lanes on Saturday in the Norton JV Panther Challenge at Charger Lanes.
