Freshman Logan DeVoe Leads JV Bowling in Brecksville Match with Team's High Game of the Season

FRESHMAN LOGAN DEVOE LEADS JV BOWLING IN BRECKSVILLE MATCH WITH TEAM'S HIGH GAME OF THE SEASON

On Wednesday, the Junior Varsity Bowling team fell to Brecksville 1575-1770 at AMF Riviera. The Hornets kept it tight in the individual games 1217 (542-675) to 1285 (652-633), but the Bees pulled away during the Baker round, 485 (131-189-165) to Highland's 358 (119-135-104). The team got a solid performance from Freshman Logan DeVoe with a 328 series (139-189). He had 3 Doubles in his second game, the JV Hornets' high game of the season. Freshman Mason Everly bowled a 250 (101-149) with a Double. Junior Chase Stastny rounded out the two-game scores with a 225 (113-112). Sophomore Aiden Kenner (113) and Freshman Connor Skomski (112) led the single-game bowlers, followed by Senior Aubrey Seiberling (97) and Freshman Ben Cavanaugh (92). DeVoe continued his hot streak into the Baker games, logging a whopping 5 strikes in the 3 games. Cavanaugh, Everly and Kenner each contributed a strike in the round. Highland looks to bounce back when they travel to North Woods Lanes on Thursday, January 22nd to face the Hudson Explorers.
