Junior Chase Stastny Leads JV Bowling in Hudson Match

JUNIOR CHASE STASTNY LEADS JV BOWLING IN HUDSON MATCH

On Thursday evening, the Junior Varsity Bowling team fell to Hudson 1550-2107 at North Woods Lanes. In the individual games, Highland bowled 1185 (543-642) to the Explorers' 1595 (808-787). Hudson grew their lead in the Baker games, tallying 512 pins (178-177-157) to the Hornets' 365 pins (130-107-128). Junior Chase Stastny led the team rolling Highland's high series of the night with a 278 (127-151) and their high game, logging a double. Freshman Logan Devoe followed with a pinfall of 267 (124-143), racking up a couple of doubles along the way. For the single game bowlers, Senior Aubrey Seiberling led the team with a 135, which included 2 strikes and 3 spares. Sophomore Geo Kerechanin rolled a 116 with a double. Freshmen Mason Everly (101) and Connor Skomski (98) were next for the Hornets. Sophomore Aiden Kenner knocked down a 97, while Freshman Ben Cavanaugh notched a 93. Highland had a team Double in the Baker Round. Stastny led with 2 strikes and Cavanaugh, Kerechanin & Seiberling each had a strike. The JV Hornets return to North Woods Lanes on Wednesday, January 28th, taking on the Nordonia Knights in their season finale.
