Junior Chase Stastny Leads JV Bowling in Nordonia Match and Team Bowls Season High Baker Round

JUNIOR CHASE STASTNY LEADS JV BOWLING IN NORDONIA MATCH AND TEAM BOWLS SEASON HIGH BAKER ROUND

On Wednesday, the Junior Varsity Bowling Team fell to Nordonia 1476-1923 at North Woods Lanes. The Hornets logged a 1096 (581-515) against the Knights' 1458 (752-706) in the individual games. In the Baker contests, Nordonia extended their lead with a 465 (161-136-168) versus Highland's 380 (125-141-114), a season high Baker round! The team was led by junior Chase Stastny 268 (149-119), with the Hornets' high game of the day. Freshman Ben Cavanaugh followed with a two-game series of 251 (121-130). Among the single game bowlers, freshman Logan DeVoe rolled a 114, while sophomore Geo Kerechanin had a 112. Senior Aubrey Seiberling contributed a 99 and freshman Mason Everly a 98. Sophomore Aiden Kenner tallied a 94, while freshman Connor Skomski rounded out Highland's score with a 60. The Baker games were highlighted by the team's 141 in game 2. Cavanaugh racked up 2 strikes in that game while Kenner had 1. Kerechanin and DeVoe each struck in Baker game 3, as the team wrapped up their season. Stay tuned for a season recap. Go Hornets!
